For some reason my menus always run about a week off. So today was my big monthly grocery shop and menu plan for next month, which we will actually start eating from tomorrow until about the last week of September. Here’s what’s on tap.

Pizza (x4) Yeah, we really like it, so I plan on it once a week — either carry out or homemade.
Potato soup – best potato soup ever. I make it without the ham.
Baked ziti – My friend Debbie’s recipe.

- Made a crockpot full of marinara/pizza sauce.
- Made a batch of meatballs.
- Made two batches of sloppy joe meat to freeze.
- Grilled chicken for salads.
- Made a batch of salsa.
- Mixed pork carnita ingredients and froze.
- Mixed chicken teriyaki ingredients and froze.
- Mixed Tex-mex chicken ingredients and froze.
