Got to the store and got the chipboard I needed (and a bunch of other in the pack I didn’t need too). I am moving along with these. The class ended yesterday. Number 12 is printed – I just need to add the traditional items. Number 13 is in progress and may be printed before bed tonight. Once I finish with these I am off to my first project for the Have More Fun class. It will be a slower pace – one a week – thank goodness.

Took the opportunity to finish another birthday letter.

Journaling reads:

Dear Olivia,
This was out third year together. You would think that we would be old pros at this by now, but you change so much every single day that we are still finding our way.

Sure you have grown taller and lost some of your baby looks, but the biggest change this year is that you have become so verbal. You started the year by saying a word or two here or there and today you spout out complete sentences and sing entire songs – always with gusto! I am amazed at all the things you learn and remember. You know letters, numbers, colors shapes. You know how to be a helper, and you know exactly how to push Mama’s buttons too.

We butt heads quite a bit, but I know the stubbornness of your toddlerhood can be channeled into the tenacity of your youth and will serve you well. So, as always, we are working on that, working on learning to make the bed, brush your teeth, dress yourself, still working on potty training (please decide you want to do that soon). Loving being together most of the time. Loving each other all of the time.

I am so glad to be your mom and share the changes, fun, learning and even the challenges of this next year with you. Watch out 3; here we come!

Love,
Mama
