I am one tired mama. I had plans for this to be one of my most productive falls ever, but it is turning out to be not so much that way. Sigh.

Around the House
Party is over!! Yay! House is clean. Life is good. Next up on the agenda is the seasonal clothes swap. Except our seasons are not cooperating. We need a few cold fronts to come our way.

From the Kitchen
See my note above about the seasons. I am so ready for some soups and chili. I did get the makings for chili and will serve it on our coolest day this week (high in the mid 70s). I also got some Pumpkin Spice coffee for the Kurig. It is heavenly even if the mornings aren’t cool.

Homeschooling
Well, it was bound to happen. We are making our first big curriculum change of the year. After many tears, much angst (on my part) and tons of research we are giving Saxon Math a try. (I know, who would have ever thunk it of me?!) Olivia needs something else, though, and I think this might be just the ticket. A sweet friend just happened to have a copy she was not using (sign, anyone?) and let me borrow it to try it out. I will keep you posted.

On the Blog
I had great intentions last week, but… Maybe this week will yield more fruit. Things are in the works.

Fitness
Pass.

Plans and Schemes
A blessedly quiet week is in store. A brief trip to the orthodontist about Olivia’s appliance (it may come out) and maybe a trip to the pumpkin patch on Saturday. Other than that, cue the crickets.

Reading and Crafting
Pass.

Saying Yes
Nothing is in the works, but I’m going to look for an opportunity this week to surprise them with a “yes.”

A Memory
Such a happy boy this weekend. He went around telling everyone “Happy Birthday!” and loved his party.
