The Story of Creation
Using the words from Genesis 1 and fabulous illustrations this book delightfully recounts the story of the earth’s creation. The poetic language of the King James version of the Bible are complemented wonderfully by the beautiful drawings. Almost a seek and find book there are tons of things to look for and look at on each.
One caution, the author does not employ fig leaves on the first humans. While tastefully done, the illustrations might inspire giggles in kids less used to viewing nude art.
The Story of Creation Homeschool Activities
#1 – Here is a link to a simple coloring book with examples of some more elaborate art projects. Choose your level of crafting fun.
#3 – Sing this fun days of creation song. Add a few hand motions and kids will remember what God created on each day. I know this will be a hit, because Thomas asked me to replay it no fewer than five times while I was writing this post.
