We took all the hard work out of planning Morning Time!

These Morning Time plans are designed for ease-of-use for new moms and veterans alike. They feature:

  • Intro material with tips and instructions for doing all the subjects
  • A weekly grid and lesson plan lists help you plan your week
  • OR a loop schedule laying out all the subjects and activities to be done — just do the next thing(s) each day
  • Printable booklist to take to the library
  • Copies of poems to print for your family
  • An easy-to-use web page with links to all the videos and tutorials in the plans, as well as links to the books and art supplies for your convenience

The sample contains a smattering of pages from the intro, an example of a printable booklist page, printable poem page, weekly grid, and loop schedule page.

Topics and subjects included in these plans are:
  • Prayer – Psalms for bedtime
  • Memorization – selections from How to Teach Your Children Shakespeare
  • Music Appreciation – Peter and the Wolf
  • Math – probability
  • Picture Study – seasonal artwork
  • Art – printmaking
  • Nature Study – flora and fauna from the backyard
  • Picture Books – fabulous selections to accompany the subject areas
  • Read Alouds – two great chapter books scheduled for you to choose between

Frequently Asked Questions

This set of plans work for kids from toddler to teen. They include a “level up” option to add more depth to specific topics for older students, but even the regular activities are appropriate for all ages.

As an example, if the plans are having you do a picture study of a Monet painting, that activity is appropriate for all ages. If you have only older kids you might leave off the suggested picture book about Monet’s life. The value of the original activity remains the same.

For this set of plans, you would need to purchase or borrow a copy of How to Teach Your Children Shakespeare, Outdoor Secrets, It’s Probably Penny, and Peter and The Wolf from Maestro Classics.

Many of the plans do contain Christian content, though secular families in our community have told us they were able to adapt the plans to their needs. We profess the Nicene Creed as our statement of faith.

    The Summer Morning Time Plans have made our early spring/summer morning time so joyful! My daughters (7 and 10) love the poetry and art study the most. We all love the picture book and chapter book read aloud, too! This plan was worth every penny because it took the pressure off of me to plan this part of our homeschool! Thanks, Pam and team!
