PinWe are four days into Advent, which means Christmas will be upon us before we blink, and we had better get started planning how we are going to celebrate those twelve days of mystery and wonder. Without further ado, I bring you the Christmas Monthly Planner.

Advent is all about preparing — our hearts and our homes — for the coming of Christ. That includes prayer and reflections, celebration of saints and solemnities, and that includes making a few Christmas plans. And yes it is red, but if I had made it gold (yellow) and white, it would have hurt your eyes terribly to read it. I went with readability and  traditional Christmas colors as opposed to Church colors for this particular planner.

The planner is the same as the Ordinary Time and Advent planners. The only thing changed is the color. Use one sheet to create a simple plan or add more as your needs dictate. I still contend that the monthly focus box is the most important spot on the sheet. You might consider adding a focus on prayer for this special season. But most of all, use it to suit your needs.

Living Liturgy Link Up

We will link up again to discuss our Christmas plans on Friday, December 20, so be sure to check back in and tell us what you are planning. In the meantime, next week we will have a very special guest post about inspiring your kids to celebrate (that’s all I’m saying, but it’s really good).
