Today was Simple Sunday, so I just scrap lifted Lain’s page from the class email this morning. Doesn’t get easier than that. I am glad to have this story told, though. It is something I want to remember.

Here is the journaling for this one since it is so much and so tiny.

I am still amazed at how quickly it all happened. We went from one day talking about how much better things would be if we lived in Dothan to calling the realtor and checking out what was on the market. Sure enough we found something we really liked and within a week or so had our house ready to sell. Then eight short days later it was gone. Oh it was not without drama — the low ball bids, the negotiating, losing our first choice home the very same day and then the whirlwind search for a new place. Our new house had only been on the market a day when we made the offer — both sales a bit unheard of in this horrible housing market. That just tells me that God has a hand in it, and it is all good. I remind myself of that often when I slow down and get the time to miss the old house –the one we created ourselves and brought the babies home to. It was a fantastic place, and I miss it. I shouldn’t be amazed at all at how quickly it was SOLD.
