I think December was the last time I sat down to make a scrapbook page. Got the urge today and just did it while Thomas was sleeping and the biggers watched Tinkerbelle. Wish I could say it was going to be a new habit, but with the move coming up, I kind of doubt it.

I think I have discovered the secret, though. I did it on my old PC. I know, I know. I love my MacBook, but I don’t have Photoshop for the MacBook, just PSE. And they are just different enough that PSE slows me down, and I get a little mental block against making pages. One thing that is super-easy on the Mac is networking, and since I have the PC and Mac talking to each other, I accessed some files on the Mac, did the page on the PC, and saved it back to the Mac again. Easy peasy. May be my new plan.

This is a scrap lift from Page Maps. Love that book.

Journaling reads:

Sure, every princess is beautiful, but not every one is incredibly smart too. Now this one, has both brains and beauty. Every single day she surprises me with some new tidbit of information or a skill that she has picked up or figured out on her very own or some little creative endeavor that she has cooked up. As for the adorableness, it just can’t be denied — the proof is in the photo.

My only nemesis in the new plan is the Alt button. It sits where Command is on the Mac and trips me up every time.
