Baker's Dozen Layout 2 | Your Morning Basket

We got another layout assignment today. I wasn’t expecting one until tomorrow. Photo assignment was to pull a photo of someone with a member of your extended family. I chose this photo of Mom and John. We also had selected the patterned paper to go with the photo ahead of time. The egg carton for this layout contained the chipboard heart, ribbon, and paper clip. I ended up painting my heart because it clashed terribly with my patterned paper. Digital elements include paper from January Mega Kit by DSD. Designer is Tamara Dantes. Frame is Transparency Frames by Katie Pertiet at Designer Digitals. All other elements are traditional.

In other news, Matt is off playing army for the next 18 days with the National Guard. I am proud of his service, but I may be pulling my hair out before it is all over. Have I mentioned lately how much that man helps out around here. He will be greatly missed.
