Our first project for the Have More FUN class over at Big Picture Scrapbooking is a mini-album. I loved this idea when I first saw it and my mind immediately started spinning as to what the theme for my album could be. I thought and thought and then it finally came to me that I should combine my Dailiness project from my Mitten Strings Challenge with the mini-album. After a little more pondering (over laundry and cooking and driving) my plan was set. Then I did indeed have FUN working on this during little snatches over the holiday weekend.

Here is the cover:

Each spread on the inside includes a photo of the kids as we go about our daily lives – nothing extraordinary — just everyday kinds of things we do. Opposite each photo is an excerpt from the book or an inspirational quote that I would like to keep at my finger tips and refer to often.

Then the beauty of this little album is that in the making you create pocket inside each page to stash extra pages, photos, or journaling. Like this here:

So, on each of my inserts I am typing up my list of dailiness memories that I want to treasure. Right now I only have one insert complete, but I am continuing to make my list every day. By the end of the month each pocket will have an insert filled with these treasures. Here is the first one:

I hope you can read some of those because I accidentally saved a flattened version of the page so I can’t copy and paste the journaling.
