Wet, gray day here today. Cooler weather is moving in. (Yay!)

Around the House
Must clean under the couch this week. Ewww.

From the Kitchen
I spent the afternoon yesterday making chicken soup, waffles, pancakes, and muffins for the freezer. We have breakfast (and chicken soup) for the rest of the month!

Homeschooling
Olivia is showing such improvement in her reading and handwriting. She is also showing great promise as a writer. She loves playing with words in our PAL Writing exercises. John also continues to amaze me with how bright he is in math. We were working on problems today where he had to hold a couple of steps in his head, and it was child’s play for him. After all the math troubles with Olivia, I hope this continues.

On the Blog
BOOT CAMP! And I had so planned on writing more about this. Tomorrow!! I hope. But it is working great, which means I am on the computer less. It’s a catch-22 I tell ya.

Fitness
Meant to start cycle 1 again today, but I ate carbs. I did have some healthy non-carb foods for much of the day. Exercise is just not getting done.

Plans and Schemes
Another busy week. This introvert is getting tired of busy weeks, but the kids need to get out. Basketball practice begins this week, Frontier Girls, play dates, and classical mom’s book club for me.

Reading and Crafting
When Children Love to Learn: A Practical Application of Charlotte Mason’s Philosophy for Today — one of my top three favorite CM books ever. I made Olivia a hat, but it turned out a little too large, so I am going to make another.

Saying Yes
Play dates and video games.

A Memory
From a year ago — a trip together to see Thomas the Train.
