So yeah, Mama caved. But you need to understand. The cries were heart-wrenching and he was inconsolable – seriously. So twice in the past 24 hours he has had a bottle with about two ounces of water in it. That was fine with him. Seriously, this is the boy’s only means of soothing in extreme stress. No thumb. No paci. No other habits or tics. No lovey. So I guess cold turkey was too much to ask for. It is still progress. And yes, I am really a big softie.
