LOAD Day 17 | Your Morning Basket

Was working on taxes for most of the day – yuck. Did manage to squeeze out this layout even with RCIA.

our year remembered 2008

A year of growth, a year of change, a year of family. We welcomed new babies Jake, Macy, and Blake and said goodbye to old friends Helen and Angel. We laughed, we cried, we prayed — in a new church, in a new way. We voted and lost. Now we wonder what the cost will be. Mom went to work. Dad was commissioned. Olivia and John challenged us and delighted us daily. This is us. Life is good. God is great.

This layout is a layered template (quick page? since it had the paper too) by Katie Pertiet over at Designer Digitals. Love those. All I had to do was add photos and change the journaling. The hardest part is where to put it? Should it go in All About Us, Places We Go, People We Love or Things We Do?

Olivia was dressing up this evening and told me that she was going to be a cowboy girl princess. I tired to turn her towards cowgirl princess, but she was having none of that.
